Depends how big the cake is, and how many people are also eating it.
For example, if it is a cake the size of a large octopus, and there's only five people in your office, I think you should go back for more. And definately get crisps.

The trick is not to go back for a whole piece, but to just nonchalantly break off half a slice and stuff it in your mouth as you go by.
No one will notice.

It's no good. I was too slow. The poor cake was gone before I got there. Curse my rusted metal body, I was too slow! I got a green lolly instead, but no one could ever pretend that green lollies are as good as cake.
However since not only the cake, but the whole base it was on was gone, there is a chance it has not been eaten only moved to a location unknown. I suspect a conspiracy is afoot.
